| 8/30/04 All of the load-bearing walls are up! You can really get a better idea of the floor plan now. The loft will be above this rear part of the house, and we hope to have that part completed in the coming weeks... Craig has also closed off the ends of the extensions and we bought our back door! Another thing we are working on is getting some cypress siding for the exterior. |

| 9/6/04- Some of Craig's family came to visit this weekend and helped us hang the joists for our loft floor. Here is the bathroom "ceiling" and a view from the loft. |

| 10/01/04 Our first bit of siding is up, on the kitchen extension. The boards above the door look lighter because they have not yet been Thompsonized. We havn't decided on a stain yet, or what color to paint the back door. |
