| 1/29/06 We are working on the subfloor now. So far, the master bedroom and half the master bath have all the pressure-treated wood laid down. We plan to install radiant heat at some point but for now we are just screwing down the plywood. Even if we decide against the radiant heat, the subfloor has a little more "give" than concrete- its easier on your feet. |

| 2/5/06- The bathroom subfloor framing is complete. |
| 2/5/06- Visitors to this site frequently ask where we live now, so I thought I'd add this pic that shows our living situation in relation to the dome. *Note added 3/27/06:* The trailer isn't in the best shape, but is still a good place to live while you finish the dome. When you are done with it you can get it removed for free, don't forget to ask us how. |
| 3/12/06- The subfloor is down in the entire back half of the dome now. Also, all the big posts to complete the stairs are in. |

| 5/12/06- The pressure treated wood for the subfloor is down in most of the living room and kitchen. |

| 07/01/06- Craig is ready to get this subfloor down! He was out of comission for a few weeks due to a broken rib, but all that hanging out at home and not being able to work on the dome was getting to him. He got down 7 more plywood boards on the subfloor and says we need about 17 more sheets to finish the subfloor. Then we can get our electric wiring done! |
