| 2001 7/13/01- The riser walls are up! 7/14/01- The first course of struts and connectors are up 8/18/01- Stage One complete! All struts and connectors are up 8/21/01- We've started cutting and installing the T-blocking 8/26/01- The first course of T-blocking is up 9/15/01- All T-blocking is up! On to the studs... 10/31/01- Still working on the studs...got all the green sections done but still have yellow and red to go. 11/24/01- Stage Two Complete! All studs are up 12/09/01- The living room windows are in 12/14/01- Minor Setback: Broke a $1,400 window 12/22/01- Started putting up the plywood 2002 1/28/02- Put in one of the loft skylights, need to reframe the other 2/23/02- Most of the plywood shell is up... have added Page 2 3/18/02- Landslide! 2003 2/21/03- Have been very slack w/ my updates.... 9/06/03- Roof is done and we start framing the interior today. 11/17/03- Front extension is completely framed including spot for front door! 12/21/03- We will be making some changes in the new year so these pages don't take so long to download! Until then, have a safe & happy holiday and we'll see you in 2004! 2004 1/17/04- Craig is in building mode again. He's framed half of the bathroom/bedroom walls. Since we got all that wood for christmas (thanks Mike & Bob!) he'll be able to work a little faster. Oh, and I've added Page 4 for 2004, as well as a "dome preparations" page with photos of grading & slab. Eventually I will post the floorplan too because that is a frequent request, look for it coming soon! 1/20/04- Two of the four load-bearing walls are up. We can get a more approximate view of the size of our master bath and the bedrooms that flank it. There are two more walls to go before we can start building the loft. I can't wait to stand up there and look through the skylights! 1/24/04- Bathroom framing, complete with doorway, is finally finished! 1/28/04 At long last I have posted the floorplan! See it here. 8/30/04- All of the load-bearing walls are up, which means we can start the loft. The extensions are closed in and we have our back door! We are also getting ready to install siding. You can see new photos here. 2005 08/08/05- Well it took us a while but we are back! The siding is all up, and we are working on the loft now. We started a new page for 2005, you can check it out here. 2006-2007 Loft is finished! New page here. 11-06- Due to circumstances beyond our control, we have decided to sell this property. It was a hard decision to make and we want to thank everyone for their help and support. It will be on the market in 2007.
